Soft Bakes by KC is a Calgary home bakery run by KC. We do not keep a retail shelf full of yesterday's rolls. Every ube pandesal tray, Dubai chewy cookie box, and ensaymada limited run starts after you confirm your order and pickup time.
That is not a marketing line. It is how the kitchen stays small, the texture stays soft, and Filipino-inspired treats still taste like they did when KC served them at home before the business existed.
How the bakery started
KC began with tea parties for family and friends. The feedback was always the same: these treats feel different from grocery boxes. When community events like SOHO Volume 1 sold out, it confirmed what regular customers already knew. Calgary wanted a home bakery that bakes after you ask, not before.
What bake-to-order means for your order
You confirm flavors and quantity first. We reply with availability before anything hits the oven.
We suggest pickup windows. Pandesal and chewy cookies are best fresh, especially in dry Calgary air.
We bake in small batches. Large office trays and custom boxes may need five to seven days notice.
We do not thaw wholesale trays. If you ordered ube pandesal from us before, that difference is why.

Our signature menu centers on Filipino-inspired favorites and crowd pleasers: ube pandesal and Ube Dream Buns, Dubai and Milky Dubai Chewy Cookies, red velvet crinkles, and ensaymada in limited drops. Custom cookie boxes mix those items for showers, offices, and small celebrations across YYC.
Pickup, delivery, and how far ahead to book
Most orders are pickup at a confirmed Calgary time window. Limited delivery may be available depending on date and order size. Three to five days notice works for many mixed boxes. Tell us your neighborhood and event date when you message us so we can answer honestly about timing.

Soft Bakes Rewards tracks confirmed orders by phone number. After 12 orders you earn a free ube pandesal. Check progress on our rewards page. Repeat customers are why bake-to-order works: your second order should be easier than your first.

How to place your first order
Use the order form on our homepage, click Add to Order on the menu, or message us with your date, headcount, and favorites. Tell us if it is your first ube order or a gift box for an office. We reply with options before anything is confirmed.
