Wow, what a night. If you were at Studio 122 yesterday, you know exactly what I mean. At Soft Bakes by KC we always say our treats are baked with love, but seeing that love reflected back by the Calgary community during KUHA Studio's SOHO (Social House) Volume 1 was something else entirely.
This wasn't just another pop-up. It felt like the start of something. The energy was real: organizers uniting Calgary's local entrepreneurs and giving our vibrant Filipino community the recognition it deserves. We're so honored to have been part of this first episode of community engagement.
The Aesthetic & The Vibe
The space looked incredible thanks to everyone involved. That perfect blend of SOHO-style industrial cool and warm, welcoming home vibes. Major love to Kuha Studios for bringing the community together and helping everyone capture those core memories with their photo booth studio. It was the heart of the social experience.
While people browsed the art and our baked treats, the atmosphere was set by DJ Jalen and DJ Rhayver. Huge thanks to them for the good vibes and keeping the energy high all evening.
Bringing the Sweet to the Social House
Our debut of the limited-edition Ensaymadas was a hit. We're so happy people enjoyed those pop-up specials, and it was amazing to see our signature treats enjoyed just as much. Everyone chatting over a Muni Muni drink with a Soft Bake in hand is exactly why we do this. Community is the secret ingredient in everything we bake, and last night proved that when we support each other, we all rise. (Pun intended.)
